You cannot accuse South Croydon Allotment Society of losing the plot after its annual open day attracted its highest ever number of visitors.
Membership secretary Richard Franklin said 162 people attended Monday's open day raising £443 for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.
Visitors were given a tour of the allotments and there was face painting and other activities.
Frances Green's allotment was voted the society's best plot.
And for those left wondering how heavy the pumpkin on the guess-the-weight stall was it weighed in at 17lbs.
