What is the quickest way to get to work? Is it on two feet, two wheels or by public transport? The council will put them all to the test when it holds its commuter challenge next month.
The experiment, which will take place on September 15, will see teams set off for work at the same time using different forms of transport.
They will walk, run, cycle and take the train or tram to see which method is the fastest.
