Croydon Pirates' first team successfully defended their 2004 National League Championship on their home turf on Sunday, defeating the Brighton Buccaneers as part of the Final Four weekend held at Roundshaw Park.
The Pirates beat the Brighton Buccaneers 11-4 and 10-9 in the best of three final, which capped a memorable weekend for the Croydon side as Croydon Pirates seconds captured the Premier Division Championship.
Croydon Pirates seconds beat league champions Cambridge Monarchs 16-4 in seven innings to claim the trophy.
The first team beat the Liverpool Trojans in the semi-final 6-5, before their deomalition of Brighton in the final.
