Q. What are your views on the MPs' expenses issue?

A. Scandalous. Well done the woman who fought for freedom of information.

Q. If you had to pick the single biggest issue you will campaign on as MP for the borough, what would that be?

A. Stop the incinerator. Recycle, recycle, recycle.

Q. What is your biggest regret?

A. Not going to university.

Q. What was your biggest achievement at school/university?

A. Learning to read and write at 8 or 9 years old.

Q. Do you believe in euthanasia?

A. No.

Q. Have you ever smoked cannabis?

A. I did when my son was killed.

Q. How did you get involved in politics?

A. When I saw all three major parties merge into one.

Q. How long have you lived in the borough?

A. 56 years on and off.

Q. Have you ever belonged to another political party?

A. No, but I used to vote Labour when they had socialist principles.

Q. What do you recycle?

A. Kitchen waste.  As I don't have a car, recycles go in the green bin. Now that glass is included I doubt it will be recycled.

Q. If you have one item on a desert island, what would it be any why?

A. Wood workers tool kit, for obvious reasons, so I could build my own accomodation.

Q. Where would you least like to live in the borough and where would you most like to live in the borough?

A. Roundshaw would be my absolute no, no,  but I would like to live where I live now, in Cheam.

Q. What is the borough's best attribute?

A. Nonsuch Park.

Q. Do you agree with abortion or are you pro-life?

A. I agree with abortion.

Q. What's your favourite biscuit?

A. I don't eat biscuits, I'm trying to give that sort of thing up.

Q. What happened when you first got drunk and did you learn your lesson?

A. I was told off by my mother and yes I learnt my lesson.

Q. What annoys you?

A. Green wash by the politicians.

Q. Do you do the washing up or do you get others to do it?

A. I do it myself. I'm not quite a modern man yet but I'm getting there.

Q. Apart from a house what is the most expensive item you have bought for yourself?

A. A solar panel

A. I don't do either. Nor do I have a mobile. I enjoy my revery.
