An extensive guide detailing activities, clubs and advice services available to young people in Lambeth has been published.

The What's on Offer guide has just been launched by Lambeth Council, targeting young people aged 11 to 25.

It contains over 100 differnent listings and contacts from music, media and dance classes to where to go to get confidential health or relationship advice.

It also includes advice on how young people can develop skills to help land their dream career, or get involved with volunteering, sports, or local politics.

Lambeth’s new Youth Mayor, Darren Tenkorang, encouraged young people to pick up a copy.

He said: "I think a lot of people will be quite surprised at just how much is on offer on their doorsteps. Loads of the activities listed are free and there is no other guide that is as comprehensive as this one."

The guide is available online at younglambeth.org, or in local youth centres, colleges, schools and libraries.

It is being sent to every year 11 student in the borough and is being publicised on Facebook.
