Breaking News: Man charged with murder of Croydon student
A man has been charged with the murder of a 16-year-old party goer outside of the Croydon Sports Arena.
Croydon College student, Wesley Sterling, was stabbed to death just after midnight on April 18 following a celebration at the arena.
He was discovered dead in a walkway and a post mortem examination gave the cause of death as a single stab wound to the chest.
Carleto Salmons, 27, of 10 Heath Road, Thornton Heath has been charged with the murder He is due to appear in at Sutton Magistrates Court this morning (April 30)
