On the 28th April, Blenheim High School announced the beginning of spring through their annual Spring Concert. It consisted of many talented performances from many of the school’s students. Some of the acts included very talented soloist musicians on varied instruments, with Hannah Woolridge on the flute and Tim Drummond on the piano.

However it wasn’t just instruments which shined through at the concert. Amal Bekkale and Zoe Sheppard performed a version of Leona Lewis’s ‘I see you’ which included singing and the piano. I have been told by other viewers that this was a very entertaining piece. ‘Don’t stop believing’ was also performed by the schools very own Glee Club which has been very popular over the last term. They added their own individual twist on the song which was “upbeat and fun”. Included in the nights performances were the Think Lizzy songs ‘Don’t believe a word’ and ‘Boys are back in town’ by the BTEC band. This was performed by Sean Davies, Ben McCarthy, Jake Brammer, Tyler Cook-Abbott and Andrew Turner, all who are currently attending Blenheim Sixth Form. This provided a relaxed atmosphere, the band were clearly enjoying themselves as did the audience, which was portrayed by the atmosphere.

The whole evening entailed engaging and very entertaining talent and was am enjoyable night for all who attended and performed.
