Julian Speroni made history last night as the first player to win Crystal Palace player of the year three years in a row.
The goalkeeper beat off competition from Darren Ambrose, Neil Danns, Shaun Derry and Johnny Ertl to claim the title, which was voted for by those attending last night's awards ceremony.
He equals Jim Cannon's record of three awards, though Cannon's were in 1978, 1985 and 1987.
Speroni was also named vice president's player of the year while Nathaniel Clyne won the young player of the year.
Ambrose won goal of the season for his free kick against Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
