At least 1,600 people have died and many more are missing in the floods which hit Pakistan two weeks ago.

The United Nations launched a fresh $459m appeal on Wednesday to help 14m people affected by the deluge.

Oxfam has described the floods as a "mega disaster" which require a "mega response". It says that so far that has not been forthcoming.
