Memories and photos of an historic Edwardian building are being sought before it is revamped.
Honeywood Museum, in Carshalton, features exhibitions of Henry VIII, Nonsuch Palace, the River Wandle, Victorian Carshalton, Edwardian toys and local railways.
During the 20th century it was a family home, offices, an air raid wardens’ post and was used for wedding receptions, parties and official functions.
Now the building is about to undergo a major refurbishment including repair of the original fittings.
Anyone with photographs or memories of the building before it was a heritage centre and museum are asked to contact the council so their information can be stored.
