A pervert who exposed himself to two women and their children in Banstead Woods is being hunted by police.
The man, in his early 30s, was seen with his shorts down and touching himself inappropriately in trees near Holly Lane at about 5.45pm on Tuesday.
The women were walking along a footpath when they noticed him acting suspiciously and shouted that they were going to call the police. He then fled towards the Ramblers’ Rest pub.
Detective Constable Rupert Knight, of Surrey Police, said: “This type of lewd behaviour can cause great distress, so we are keen to identify this man and prevent him from intimidating anyone else in this way.”
The man is white, about 6ft tall and slim, with short mousy brown hair. He wore trainers, a brown vest top and green shorts.
Anyone with information should call Surrey Police on 0845 125 2222, quoting reference RB/10/8438, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
