From community correspondent Steve Wicks: Members of the 1st Mitcham Rainbow Guides recently visited the newly refurbished maze in Crystal Palace established to celebrate the centenary of Guiding. They had a great time although by the time they found the middle their leaders were exhausted. ‘It took them 30 minutes’ said Eleanor Shelley, Rainbow Leader – when in the middle we asked them to smile and you can see the result! They all had a great time and it didn’t rain.’ Rainbows are the youngest section of the Guides and are aged 5 -7 years.
