A company dedicated to helping people with learning and physical disabilities hosted its annual athletics championships this week.

Care Management Group (CMG) held their National Athletics Championship at Sutton Arena on Tuesday (September 7) and the winners received their medals from Olympians Nathan Robertson and David Weir.

A spokesman for CMG said: “The Athletics Championships aims to promote sport as part of a healthy lifestyle for CMG service users across England and Wales.

“It recognises the benefits of exercise and peer competition for improving mental health, providing social opportunities and raising self esteem, as well as for enhancing physical wellbeing.”
