A Battersea comedian is laughing all the way to the bank after setting up his own stand-up night.
Al Cowie, 35, of Trott Street, said he set up Llaugh in Clapham Junction in a bid to bring “intelligent” comedy to residents.
The show, held every Saturday in the Wessex House nightclub, St John’s Hill, has been running since March.
He said: “It’s humour that makes you think. You go away and you’re laughing about it for the next week.”
This is Al’s latest project in a long list of vocations, including cattle ranching, fitness instructing and selling photocopiers.
