A 39-year-old man from Leatherhead has been arrested on suspicion of harassing and repeatedly exposing himself to a woman.
Sussex Police launched an appeal on BBC’s Crimewatch, asking for information about a pervert who had struck in Brighton.
Detectives said he first went into the victim’s garden and repeatedly banged on her front door in April 2009. He continued to harass the woman, culminating on February 21 this year when he returned to her garden and stayed there for hours before exposing himself.
Surrey Police arrested a man on behalf of Sussex Police following the appeal, and have released him on bail until next Thursday.
Anyone with information should call Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
