The Metropolitan Police has revealed it has reached more than 100,000 youths as part of a campaign to break down barriers between police and young Londoners.
It has launched several youth projects already, including Lambeth Kickz, part of a national football scheme aimed at engaging boys and girls in more deprived communities.
Met Commander Steve Rodhouse said: “The Met is proud to be working with partners to keep young people safe in London.
"These projects not only engage with large numbers, but also enable young people to improve their quality of life by gaining employment and training opportunities.”
