Instrument manufacturer Roland has chosen Brooklands College in Weybridge as one of its specialist academies.
The company will provide students with a professional standard recording studio and production suite equipped with Roland products.
The Roland Music Academy at Brooklands College is staffed by industry professionals with years of experience within the music business as performers, music technicians, producers and composers.
David Penri-Evans, curriculum leader for music, said: “This is a very exciting time for the music department at the college. Roland Music Academy status will give our students access to the latest equipment, ongoing training and technical support, presentations delivered by famous artists and wider career opportunities.
“It is a real honour. What a way to start the new academic year.”
