The troubles in Afghanistan and Iraq have inspired one of the UK’s healthcare providers to launch an initiative to support the Royal British Legion.
Hidden Hearing, which has a branch in Eden Street, Kingston, will donate £5 to the charity for each hearing assessment carried out.
Teresa Greener from legion said: “The Royal British Legion was delighted with the support received from Hidden Hearing last year, and particularly pleased that it wants to continue and expand its support in 2010. “Without the support of concerned and responsible organisations such as Hidden Hearing, the legion could not continue its vital work supporting those who are serving and have served in the British armed forces.”
