Simon Fitzjohn and Rhian Morgan from the Movie Nerd team will be jetting off to the USA on Friday for three weeks sampling the cultural delights of the South/South-West.

Visits will be made to New Orleans, Houston, Tucson and San Diego, with many more stops along the way.

Highlights are set to include a voodoo tour in New Orleans, a stay at a spa resort in Tucson and a day at NASA Space Center.

In addition, naturally, the pair will be hot-footing it to American cinemas to check out a host of movies yet to hit British screens.

The blog will be updated daily, along wth photographs, as the duo embark on their travels.
