Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of missing 15-year-old Drew Knight last seen in Croydon. Drew has not returned to a care home in Hove that he left on Wednesday, September 1.
Drew is white, 5' 6", of slight build, with a pale complexion and sometimes wears glasses.
He is in the care of the London Borough of Lewisham and had been at the home in Hove for several weeks.
He was last seen wearing grey jogging bottoms, white t-shirt and black leather jacket.
Drew comes from London and has friends and relatives in Croydon, Catford and Lewisham.
He has been seen in Croydon in recent days and police believe that he may still be in the area.
Detective Inspector Lee Horner said: "There is no evidence that any harm has befallen Drew at this time. However, when he left Hove he had no money and no mobile, and as each day passes we naturally worry that he may become vulnerable to some form of harm or criminality.
"We are making enquiries with colleagues in the Metropolitan Police, but anyone who sees Drew or who knows where he may be, is asked to contact police, either in London or by calling Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999, quoting serial 1323 of 01/09."
