Tooting Bec FC, who play in the Surrey Elite League, raised more than £1,500 for breast cancer last season.
Fundraising activies ranged from race nights to charity auctions.
Chris Winn, from the club who play at Raynes Park Vale's ground in Grand Drive, said: “We also wore pink socks for all of our games last season, much to the amusement of many of our opponents.”
“This season our chosen charity is Great Ormond Street Hospital and, to show our support, we are wearing purple socks for every game, both the first team and reserve team. We aim to raise a similar figure to that raised last year.”
