Life-threatening accident leaves cyclist in hospital
A cyclist was left with life threatening injuries after a collision with a car in Wimbledon yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened at the junction of Leopold Road and Kenilworth Road at about 3pm. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene.
The 20-year-old rider was treated at the roadside and then taken to the hospital, where he is in a serious condition, a policeman spokesman said this morning.
