Croydon FC saw off Hythe & Dibden 3-1 at The Arena on Saturday to progress into the first round proper of the FA Vase.
After Gareth Graham had converted a penalty for The Trams on eight minutes, the Dorset side equalised just 60 seconds later.
Denva McKenzie restored the home side's lead in the first half before Levi Coleman came off the bench to seal the win with 10 minutes remaining.
The Combined Counties Premier side now face Beckenham Town at home in the next round on October 2.
Croydon's next three games: Sept 25 Hanworth Villa (a), Oct 2 Beckenham Town (FA Vase, h), 5 Badshot Lea (Premier Cup, a).
