Whyteleafe suffered back to back defeats for the second time this season as they lost 2-1 away to Horsham YMCA on Sunday.
Having failed to take advantage of their early pressure, Leafe fell behind just before the break and would have been two down had Rob O'Hara not saved a 65th minute penalty.
Horsham did extend their lead 10 minutes later though and were able to see out the game despite Chris O'Flaherty's late consolation.
Whyteleafe's next three games: Sept 25 Eastbourne Town (h), 28 Chipstead (h), Oct 2 Bognor Regis Town (FA Trophy, a).
