To coincide with October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, St Anthony’s Hospital (www.stanthonys.org.uk) an independent private hospital in Cheam, Surrey, will be holding a free special awareness evening for women about breast care on Thursday 7 October at 6.30pm at St Bede’s Conference Centre in the hospital grounds.

Guest speaker Dibyesh Banerjee, Consultant Breast Surgeon will be talking about the clinical issues, the symptoms and the treatment, as well as St Anthony’s Hospital’s new one-stop breast clinic. One of his patients will also talk about their experience of overcoming breast cancer.

In conjunction with this, it offers a screening service allowing women over 40 without symptoms to self-refer for mammograms if they have not had a mammogram within the last year.
