Two people were arrested during a drug raid in Putney.
Police were tipped off about a problem property by residents, who reported being fearful of drug users and dealers and the possibility of a surge in crimes in the Swinburne Road area.
Having secured a drug search warrant at South Western Magistrates’ Court, officers raided an address in the road at 6.30am on September 8.
West Putney safer neighbourhoods team, in conjunction with the Area Territorial Support Group, seized drugs and associated items and arrested two people.
PC Paul James said: “This is another example of police working in conjunction with the community to create a better environment to live in.
“Results such as this help show those involved in drug supplying in Wandsworth that you will be caught and dealt with to the full extent of the law.”
