George Burley believes his Crystal Palace side have finally started to click but has warned his players to keep working hard.
The Eagles have enjoyed a reversal in fortunes this week, ending a run of five straight defeats with a 4-1 win against Portsmouth and a 0-0 drew with Burnley.
Burley has brought 13 new players to the club since his appointment in the summer and often protested they needed time to settle.
While it appears they may now have done that, Burley still insists they are not the finished article.
"It was never going to happen overnight and we need to keep working at it," he said.
"We have got a number of young players and it is an ongoing thing we have to work hard at.
"I do not think we have been playing badly but we have to turn good performances into wins which is not easy.
"It's a long season and we have to keep working hard and we have some difficult games coming up.
"We defended very well against Burnely and were solid, with Julian Speroni and the two centre-halfs playing very well."
