Beddington Park Primary School are excited to officially open their Woodland Enclave on Monday 27th September at 9.30am.
Our Woodland Enclave has been a significant investment for the school and has been strongly supported by the staff, governors and the local community.
It complements our commitment to sustainability and the environment. As you probably know, our school was awarded the Green Flag for the second time and our school life is firmly committed to sustainable intiatives.
Our Enclave offers our pupils the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom and offers a variety of cross curricular activities. It is divided into areas such as... The Enchanted Forest, The Woodcutters Cottage, The Magic Tree and a Butterfly Garden.
The children will be able to play, read, learn, explore wildlife or sit on wooden benches and watch performances on the stage.
The Enclave also boasts a sound system so that stories and music can be played.
The development of this area has been a genuine community effort and we are very excited about its development and use.
