Croydon Athletic secured their survival last night by paying the bond requested by the Ryman League.
The bond, which had to be paid by midnight, was to guarantee the Rams could fulfil their fixtures until the end of the season.
The administrative side of things still has to be sorted out and it is unclear who will manage and play for the team in the near future, but the bond at least means Croydon Athletic survive in one form or another.
A statement on the club's website said: "At the time of writing the bond requested has been paid to the Ryman League / Football Association but negotiations continue regarding the administration of the club and the paperwork required to take the club forward.
"A further statement will follow later on Wednesday evening when hopefully we can confirm Friday's fixture will take place as arranged."
The Rams are scheduled to face Aveley away on Friday night.
