Musicians and artists will fill the streets of Leatherhead this weekend for the Arts Alive Festival 2010.
Performers will start the annual celebrations with a bang from 10am until 4pm on Saturday.
Leatherhead and Dorking town centres will be filled with an air of excitement as artists, actors and festival-goers take part in the street parties.
Groups that have been confirmed to appear in Leatherhead include Bloco Do Sul, Pandemonium, the Mole Valley Silver Band, the Rampant Rooster Morris Dancers, and Poptastic.
The Momentum Community Coaching Academy will also give visitors the chance to have a go at parkour, a form of free-running that involves jumping and climbing over obstacles.
The 14th annual festival will see more than 100 dance, music, drama, arts and crafts events in Mole Valley throughout October.
Councillor Vivienne Michael, portfolio holder for wellbeing and customer service at Mole Valley Council, said: “The Arts Alive Street Party is a great way to discover more about the many arts events that are coming up during October’s festival.
“It promises to be a great day out in Dorking and Leatherhead for all the family. You may even be inspired to join one of our many local arts groups.”
