Epsom and Ewell Council is looking for volunteers to join its health walks programme.
The council is looking for people to volunteer as Walk Leaders for their Health Walks, to give as much of their time to the programme as they like, with a minimum of just half an hour each month required.
As part of the training to become a Walk Leader, volunteers will also receive a free one day Walk Leader's course as well as free two hour emergency first aid training.
Councillor Clive Woodbridge, Chairman of the Leisure Committee, said: “The popular Health Walks programme continues to grow from strength to strength. The number of people taking part is increasing fast and we are diversifying to meet the needs of different groups.”
The borough’s free Health Walks programme offers a variety of walks throughout the week at various locations in Epsom and Ewell.
