Corinthian Casuals manager Brian Adamson insists there is no need to panic, despite his side's 2-1 defeat to Leatherhead on Tuesday leaviung them stuck at the foot of the table.
Danny Green scored the only goal for the Tolworth-based side at King George’s Field as they failed to improve on Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Whitstable Town.
“It was a deserved victory. Leatherhead are a very good side and they will be title contenders this year. 2-1 is not a bad result for us,” said Adamson.
“We're not panicking though, we believe in what we've got and we're quite confident.
“The boys are desperate for their first win and to get the monkey off their backs. One win and we'll be away.
“At the moment we're playing well for 30 or 40 minutes, but we need to extend that to 70, then 80 and then 90 minutes.
“We need to be more ruthless up top and meaner at the other end.”
Corinthian Casuals' next three games: Sept 25 Merstham (a), 28 Dulwich Hamlet (a), Oct 2 Potters Bar Town (FA Trophy, h).
