A 27-year-old man was left with a broken cheek and arm after three thugs attacked him in a park.
The victim was believed to have been drinking with friends in Court Recreation Ground, in Epsom, when the yobs confronted him.
The man was found in Pound Lane and was taken to Epsom Hospital with two black eyes, and a broken cheek and right arm. Medics also gave him stitches to a head injury.
Police said the attackers approached the friends between 8.30pm and 9.30pm on Sunday, September 12, and separated the victim from the group before repeatedly hitting him.
Detective Constable Rupert Knight, of Surrey Police, said: “It is vital to the investigation we build up a clear picture of the events leading to up to this assault when this young man was found with injuries.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who was walking in the Pound Lane area on Sunday, September 12, and may have seen a group of people together, or who was in the recreation ground and may have seen or heard a disturbance.“
