I am a daily user of Hackbridge train station and I am disappointed with Southern Railway on the number of services they run to London.

In the morning between 7.31am and 8.05am there are no direct sevices to Clapham Junction or Victoria. There is a 34 minute gap at busy time of the morning with no services running to the main stations in London.

Hackbridge is a very residential area with a rapidly increasing number of train commuters, but still the number of services over the last three or four years has not increased on their timetable.

Furthermore they have now stopped their direct service to Battersea Park. Those who live in Wallington have the advatage of 6 trains per hour between 7.00am and 8.00am either direct to Battersea Park or Clapham Junction.

I wrote to Southern trains network to complain about their services from Hackbridge and to their credit they replied saying that they have been contacted by a few other commuters regarding the same concerns but their timetable cannot accommodate more services on that line at the moment.

So I urge all other Hackbridge commuters who feel that the services should be increased to write in to comments@southerrailway.com to voice their feelings.

The more comments they receive the more pressure they will feel to up the number of services from Hackbridge into London.

I am sure there are many passengers who would appreciate some services to Battersea Park and certainly a more regular service to Clapham Junction and Victoria.
