Three Merton Low Carbon Zone residents picked up green prizes for their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint.
Jasia Fareed was awarded a top prize after making significant changes to her energy consumption habits and is now the proud owner of a new A+ energy-rated washing machine.
Mohammed Younus Qureshi won a standby saving kit, meaning he will no longer waste electricity by leaving appliances on standby.
He also won an electro-turbo iron, which will save on electricity by cooling and heating quicker than normal irons.
A third family have yet to choose their prizes from a list including a ceiling-mounted clothes dryer and an eco-kettle and toaster.
The prizes were awarded after dozens of residents on the Phipps Bridge and Cherry Street estates kept diaries logging their green lifestyle changes.
