Schoolchildren are being put in serious danger by cars speeding along an Upper Norwood street, a councillor has warned.
Councillor Pat Ryan said a postbox left reeling after being hit by a driver several weeks ago is the latest in a string of collisions along Beulah Hill since the turn of the year.
He said pupils at nearby St Joseph’s College would continue to be at risk unless the council installed traffic calming measures along the route.
Coun Ryan said: “It’s an accident waiting to happen.”
