A two day exhibition of proposals to improve and revitalise the Eden Walk Shopping Centre in central Kingston will get underway on Friday.
The plans for the centre, which includes Sainsbury’s, Boots and Marks and Spencer, will be on show at the vacant unit between H&M and M Butterfly on the western mall between 10am and 4pm on Friday and Saturday.
Advisers from the owners Eden Walk Shopping Centre General Partner Ltd (EWSCGP) will be available to answer questions, and comments sheets will be handed out so people can express their views in writing.
EWSCGP is owned by Universities Superannuation Scheme, an occupational pensions scheme for university and higher education staff.
Its development manager Neil Hardiman said: "We have been working with our architects on proposals to refurbish and update Eden Walk for some time, and now we very much want to hear local people’s views.
"Improving the appearance and environment of Eden Walk will have a positive effect on this area of the town centre and should encourage further inward investment."
