People with financial worries can benefit from a service launched this month.
The Lambeth Debt Project allows residents to discuss debt problems face-to-face with specialist advisers.
Patrick Marples, the project’s director, insists the team will be able to help with any issue.
He said: “We have advisers who can give you free, confidential advice and help you begin to find a solution to your problems.”
The service is part of Lambeth Council’s economic recovery plan.
Centres have opened at the Brixton Advice Centre, Lambeth Law Centre, Merton and Lambeth Citizens Advice Bureau in Barhill Road, Streatham Hill, and Centre 70 in Knight’s Hill.
