A Streatham doctor is calling on the Government to help with the mental health crisis in India.
GP Dr Ranen Sarma urged Prime Minister David Cameron to come to the aid of the country’s “forgotten millions”.
He blamed Indian authorities for the country’s lack of infrastructure to deal with mental health, and the British Government for failing to provide financial assistance and guidance.
