Sutton Schools Borough U11s started their season impressively with this convincing win against Woking in the Surrey League on Saturday.
Sutton started strongly controlling the midfield and passing the ball well and it was no surprise when Mason Seagroatt’s free kick found Alfie Doughty who fired home for the first goal.
George Miller added a second minutes later with a fine finish and then Ellis Mottley was the next to show his finishing ability with a spectacular long range strike to give Sutton a comfortable three goal lead by half time.
The second half followed a similar pattern with Sutton well on top. Miller scored his second after good work down the left and then cleverly found skipper Doughty for a fifth goal after Woking had pulled one back.
South West Trains Player of the Match was Joseph Sampah who had a fine game at full back. Sutton play Merton this Saturday in a friendly.
