You played at the top end of football for most of your career. What has it been like dropping down to the Ryman League? When you start out in management it is really different. But we have a good set-up here and some good lads. Playing-wise, it is good compared to Bedfont so it has been a step up for me.
If you could sign any former team-mate of yours for Walton Casuals, who would it be? Matt Le Tissier, without a doubt. If I can have more than one then Attilio Lombardo - he was class.
Which of your old clubs do you follow the closest? I am a season ticket holder at Chelsea and go when I can. I went to the Blackpool game with my six year old and they looked good.
Who receives most of the mickey-taking in the dressing room? Anthony Gale looks into the mirror a bit too much. There are fines for excessive grooming.
Could any of your players do well at a higher level? It is clear to see that Charlie Ide could. And maybe Mark Nicholls too. We also have a promising right-back called Joe Kelly but it is too early to make a real assessment.
What sort of music do the boys play in the dressing room before the game? Alex Brown is in charge of the iPod. I have no idea what it is but it sounds horrific so he gets stick off me for that.
Does the team have any strange pre-match rituals? Adam Willis does but I cannot really comment... he does not do it every game but you would have to ask one of the boys about that! If we were doing well I might have a lucky tie and maybe wear the same clothes.
Who is the biggest moaner you have come across in football? Liam Hind, a player here at Walton Casuals. He does not stop.
What are your hobbies? I play golf when I can. I play off 15 and am a member of a golf society.
What are you favourite TV programmes? I watch Family Guy when I can.
If you had to pick out one goal from your career which would it be? I suppose I will always be remembered for the play-off final goal I scored against West Ham that took Crystal Palace up but I am going to say a different one. I scored one from the edge of the box right into the top corner for Barnsley against Sheffield United - it was a peach of a goal!
