Champion: Sailor Alexandra Rickham will fly to Australia to train for the London 2012 Paralympic Games
A top British sailor from Epsom will fly to Australia to carry out her winter training in preparation for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Alexandra Rickham, 28, will compete in the Sail Sydney and Sail Melbourne events, and also train with the Australian team who won silver medals at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.
British Airways gave the reigning Paralympic world champion and her team, including her coach along with with technical and personal care assistants, a travel bursary grant to help her realise her dreams.
