Celebrity chef and Wandsworth resident, Ainsley Harriot, is calling on the borough’s cooks to help raise cash for an international humanitarian aid agency.
As part of Concern Worldwide’s “Bake a Difference” campaign, Ainsley - along with fellow gastro legend Paul Rankin - wants as many people as possible to bake their favourite goodies, sell them and donate the money to Concern.
He said: “This is a great opportunity to whip up some scrumptious goodies for your friends and families as well as raising money for a great cause.
“Concern works with the world’s poorest people to help find long-term solutions to hunger and poverty, but they can’t do it without your help.
“So, come on, put on your pinny, grab your rolling pin and get baking for Concern this October.”
