Streatham’s MP turned storyteller last week when he dropped in on school pupils.
Chuka Umunna visited Woodmansterne Primary School on Friday as part of his plans to visit every school in his constituency.
He read to pupils, and spoke to them about their new library, that is due to be opened soon.
Parent Neeta Hitchings said Mr Umunna also learned about the school’s current campaign to get parents to donate books to the new library.
