A woman had a knife held to her throat by a teenage robber who stole her iPod in a park.

The 34-year-old was attacked as she walked through Brockwell Park towards the duck pond at about 6.50pm on Sunday, October 3.

The robber approached the woman from behind before putting his arm around her shoulder and the blade to her throat.

When she screamed, he pulled her to the ground and assaulted her.

The teenager demanded cash but when she had none took her iPod before walking off towards Tulse Hill.

He is described as black, in his mid to late teens, with a slim to medium build, and short Afro hair.

He wore a black jumper, black tracksuit bottoms and black canvas trainers with white sides along the soles.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Lambeth’s robbery squad on 0208 649 2440 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
