St Michael & All Angels Church in Milton Road, South Beddington, has undergone a transformation in recent months.
Having raised some £120,000 over the last few years, with generous donations from the congregation and those who live in the parish, a new church entrance has been created.
There is now also a kitchen and toilet facilities within the church building.
On October 31, at the 10am service, the Venerable Tony Davies, the Archdeacon of Croydon, will lead a service of blessing and dedication.
The new entrance and facilities are a major factor in opening up St Michael’s Church and making it more visibly welcoming to the community.
