The Surrey County FA are holding free Charter Standard In-service coaching workshops for all clubs who hold the FA Charter Standard award.
The first of six workshops scheduled for this year was held at Bourne Hall, Ewell, last week.
Twenty-eight people took part in the event, rrun by Chris Walley, FA Coach Development Manager.
Michelle Jeffcoate, football development officer at The Surrey County FA, said, ”It is great to see so many coaches from Charter Standard clubs attending In-service events like this. It shows their commitment to improving their coaching and the environment for the young people within their club. We will be running lots more courses like this with practical ideas for club coaches.
“This is just one of the benefits we are putting on for clubs who have worked hard to achieve FA Charter Standard status.”
