The number of confirmed royal street parties in the borough has reached an impressive 79.
The deadline for applications was Monday, at which time the total stood at 72 parties approved in the borough.
However, a final surge saw that figure climb to 79 - putting Wandsworth second in London to Richmond which has 85 confirmed.
Royal fever has clearly hit Wandsworth, with many communities from all over the borough being drawn in by the council’s offer to close off their street free of charge and celebrate Wills and Kate’s wedding next weekend.
