UPDATE: It is understood Sainsbury's have called off the event.

A group of hunky firemen from across the UK will be getting soaped up in Epsom this weekend at a charity car wash at Sainsbury’s, Kiln Lane.
The fit fire fighters, who model for the official fire fighter calendar, will be raising money for three charities; The Fire Fighters Charity, Operation Florian and Kamloops Fire Fighters: Operation Nicaragua.
The Fire Fighter Charity provides support and care to fire fighters injured every year in the UK while protecting the public, while Operation Florian and Operation Nicaragua raise money to supply fight fighting equipment to countries that cannot afford it.
Later this year the calendar boys plan to drive across the US from New York to LA in a fire engine which will then be donated to a small town in Nicaragua.
Speaking of Saturday’s car wash, James Lloyd-Roberts, fire fighter and photographer for the calendar, said: “It’s going to be really great fun and absolutely bonkers. “It’s really great to do something good.”
The fire fighters will be at Sainsbury’s, Kiln Lane in Epsom on Saturday, July 23, and welcome minimum donations of £5 to get your car washed and have a photo.
To make a £2 donation now, text FIRE662 to 70070.
