Twenty firefighters were called out to a blaze in an empty maisonette flat this morning.
Four engines from Clapham, Tooting and Croydon were called to the fire at the second-floor maisonette in Cicada Road, East Hill, just before 11am.
Crews had the fire under control by 11.35am.
Nobody was injured as the residents were not home at the time and the maisonette was partly damaged by fire.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: "It was a maisonette within a row of terraced houses. A second floor maisonette was partly damaged by fire. Nobody was hurt as nobody was in the property at the time.
"Firecrews are waiting for a fire investigation unit to investigate the cause."
